Gigabee is a decentralized AI inference network built on Solana. The platform connects users who want to access AI language models with GPU owners around the world who contribute their hardware to serve inference jobs. Users pay for AI inference using $GB, the native token of the Gigabee network, which is used to purchase credits at real-time market price. One credit equals $0.01 USD and is spent when a user sends a message to the AI models available on the platform. GPU contributors, referred to as workers, earn $GB for every inference job they complete. Workers keep 75% of the credit value of each job they serve. Earnings accumulate in an internal ledger called Honey and can be withdrawn to any Solana wallet in $GB once the balance reaches the minimum threshold of $25.00 equivalent. The Gigabee platform is live at gigabee.io and currently offers two AI model tiers: Bee Hover for fast, lightweight tasks and Bee Glide for longer reasoning and complex queries. All payments are verified on-chain on Solana mainnet before credits are issued or payouts are sent.
