Issuance Mechanism

Ultima utilizes a strictly limited supply and a scheduled reduction in issuance to drive scarcity.

• Maximum Supply: The total supply of ULTIMA is capped at 100,000 tokens.
• Halving Events: Token issuance is reduced periodically through halving events. The daily distribution is projected to decline significantly over time, reaching a rate of just one token per day by 2028.
• Deflationary Controls: In addition to halvings, the ecosystem implements token burns to permanently remove tokens from circulation, further managing the total supply.

Allocation and Minting Mechanism

The distribution of ULTIMA tokens is primarily managed through a specialized minting process facilitated by the Ultima Farm application and smart contracts.

• Minting Process: Participants earn rewards by "freezing" ULTIMA tokens within the Farm application. This process is supported by "Farming Units" that operate over a fixed term.
• Reward Distribution: Rewards generated through the minting process are divided into two distinct balances:
  • 60% Available Balance: These tokens are immediately usable for transactions, transfers, or purchases within the ecosystem.
  • 40% Upgrade Balance: These tokens are reserved specifically for reinvestment and upgrades within the ecosystem, ensuring long-term participation.
• Liquidity Pools: Rewards are also proportionally distributed to holders of SPLIT tokens, which are part of the ecosystem's liquidity infrastructure.

Locking and Unlocking Mechanism

Locking, often referred to as "freezing" in the Ultima ecosystem, is a central component of its reward and security model.

The ecosystem emphasizes user sovereignty, as wallets are fully decentralized. Users maintain exclusive access to their private keys, meaning they are the sole owners of the access keys to their wallets and any frozen or liquid coins therein.
