Litecoin trades at $55.93 with neutral RSI at 47.79. Technical analysis suggests LTC could target $62 resistance if bulls reclaim $57.80 breakout level within 4 weeks.

LTC Price Prediction: Litecoin Eyes $62 Recovery by March 2026

Litecoin continues to consolidate near current levels as technical indicators paint a mixed picture for the digital silver. With LTC trading at $55.93, our analysis examines key price levels that could determine the cryptocurrency's direction through March 2026.

LTC Price Prediction Summary

Short-term target (1 week): $57.80
Medium-term forecast (1 month): $54-$62 range
Bullish breakout level: $57.80
Critical support: $53.48

What Crypto Analysts Are Saying About Litecoin

While specific analyst predictions are limited for the current period, recent commentary from cryptocurrency analysts provides insight into Litecoin's potential trajectory. According to analyst Rebeca Moen from early January, "LTC price prediction shows bullish momentum building with $88 short-term target. Analysts forecast Litecoin recovery to $87-95 range if $82 support holds firm through January."

Timothy Morano also noted bullish technical patterns, stating that "Litecoin shows bullish MACD momentum with analysts targeting $87-95 range within 4 weeks, provided $82 critical support level holds firm."

However, these predictions appear optimistic given current price action, as LTC has fallen significantly from those projected support levels.

LTC Technical Analysis Breakdown

Litecoin's technical indicators reveal a neutral-to-bearish setup. The RSI sits at 47.79, indicating neither oversold nor overbought conditions. This neutral RSI reading suggests potential for movement in either direction depending on market catalysts.

LTC trades above both the 7-day and 20-day SMAs at $54.17, providing short-term support. However, the cryptocurrency remains well below the 50-day SMA at $62.54 and significantly under the 200-day SMA at $89.44, indicating a longer-term bearish trend structure.

The MACD histogram reads exactly 0.0000, suggesting a potential inflection point. With the MACD line at -1.9722 matching the signal line, Litecoin appears poised for a directional move. The Stochastic indicators show %K at 65.19 and %D at 52.15, indicating moderate bullish momentum in the short term.

LTC's position at 0.79 within the Bollinger Bands suggests the cryptocurrency is closer to the upper band ($57.17) than the lower band ($51.17). This positioning indicates potential resistance ahead while providing a clear support framework.

Litecoin Price Targets: Bull vs Bear Case

Bullish Scenario

In the optimistic case, Litecoin forecast suggests a move toward $57.80 strong resistance represents the primary upside target. A successful break above this level could open the door to testing the 50-day SMA at $62.54.

Key bullish catalysts include: - RSI breaking above 50 with sustained momentum - Daily close above $57.17 (Bollinger Band upper limit) - Volume confirmation on any breakout attempts

Bearish Scenario

The bearish case for this LTC price prediction centers on a breakdown below $53.48 strong support. Such a move could target the Bollinger Band lower boundary at $51.17, with further downside potentially extending toward psychological support around $50.

Risk factors include: - Failed attempts to reclaim $57.80 resistance - MACD turning decisively negative - Broader cryptocurrency market weakness

Should You Buy LTC? Entry Strategy

Conservative Entry: Wait for a successful daily close above $57.17 with volume confirmation before initiating positions.

Aggressive Entry: Current levels around $55.93 offer a reasonable risk-reward ratio for traders willing to accept higher volatility.

  • Conservative traders: $53.00
  • Aggressive traders: $51.00

Risk Management: Given the 14-day ATR of $2.56, position sizing should account for potential daily moves of this magnitude.

Conclusion

This Litecoin forecast suggests LTC remains in a consolidation phase with potential for a breakout toward $62 if bulls can reclaim $57.80 resistance. The neutral RSI and balanced MACD provide flexibility for movement in either direction.

Our LTC price prediction carries moderate confidence given the mixed technical signals. Traders should monitor the $53.48 support level closely, as a breakdown could accelerate selling pressure toward $50.

Trump's confidante Steve Bannon says Scott Bessent should run both the Fed and Treasury

Trump's confidante Steve Bannon says Scott Bessent should run both the Fed and Treasury

Steve Bannon wants Scott Bessent to run the two most powerful economic arms of the U.S. government at once — the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department. In a podcast interview on Friday, Steve told Sean Spicer that Scott should take over from Jerome Powell as Fed chair next year but still stay on as Treasury Secretary. The episode’s footage was obtained by CNBC’s Eamon Javers. “I am a big believer that on an interim basis, that Scott Bessent should be both the head of the Federal Reserve and the secretary of Treasury, and maybe get through the midterm elections, step down at Treasury and take over the Federal Reserve,” Steve said. Scott is already heading the search for Powell’s replacement when his term ends in May 2026. He was once thought to be a candidate himself, but publicly said he’s fine staying at Treasury. That hasn’t stopped Steve from pushing the idea anyway. Steve lasted only seven months as Trump’s White House strategist before getting fired. Still, he’s close to Trump and clearly feels comfortable tossing out these kinds of proposals. The White House, on the other hand, isn’t amused. “Such an arrangement is not being and has never been considered by the White House,” a spokesman said. The idea was immediately shut down. White House rejects plan as Scott leads search for Powell’s replacement There’s no real example of this happening before. Before the Banking Act of 1935, the Treasury Secretary did sit on the Fed’s board, but the chair role wasn’t created until later. Janet Yellen ran the Fed and then the Treasury, but those jobs were years apart. Scott doing both at once — even if temporary — would break that mold completely. Right now, Scott is running the process to find Powell’s successor. Reports say there are 11 names on the list. He was once on it too, until he said he wasn’t interested. Still, Steve thinks Scott should hold both posts until midterms, then leave Treasury and stay on as Fed boss. It’s not clear if anyone else in Trump’s circle supports that plan. Trump has repeatedly slammed the Fed for not slashing interest rates more. He wants a Fed that moves fast — his way. That pressure could be why Steve wants someone loyal like Scott at the top. But making him do both jobs, even for a few months, would raise serious legal, policy, and political questions. Fed’s Miran dismisses tariff inflation and calls for deeper rate cuts While Steve is pushing personnel moves, Fed Governor Stephen Miran is focused on policy. He voted against the Fed’s decision this week to cut rates by 0.25%. He wanted a 0.5% cut instead. Speaking on CNBC’s “Money Movers” Friday, Miran said he doesn’t think Trump’s tariffs will cause inflation. “I’m clearly in the minority in not being concerned about inflation from tariffs,” Miran said. “But that was also true in 2018-2019, and I think I probably could take a little victory lap about that.” He said he hasn’t seen any real evidence that tariffs are pushing up prices. “If you thought tariffs are driving inflation higher, you’d think imports would be differentially inflating at a higher pace,” he said. Miran also said the difference between inflation in U.S. core goods and other countries is tiny. “If I thought that tariffs were driving any material inflation in the United States, I’d look for evidence,” he added. Even so, the Fed’s own data says inflation is still above 2%, and might not fall back to target until 2028. Only Miran wanted the Fed to move faster on cutting rates. The rest of the 12-member committee didn’t agree, as Cryptopolitan reported. Want your project in front of crypto’s top minds? Feature it in our next industry report, where data meets impact.
