Quantra and Phoenix Finance Turn Real-World Cash Flows Into On-Chain Yield

blockchain6 main

Quantra, a prominent Web3 infrastructure platform, has collaborated with Phoenix Finance, RWA-first, yield-bearing initiative. The partnership endeavors to accelerate the RWA adoption across the DeFi landscape. As Quantra’s official X announcement reveals, the development combines its expanding RWA infrastructure and the yield-bearing stablecoin network of Phoenix Finance. Hence, this initiative reflects a wider market trend toward incorporating real-world cash streams into interoperable DeFi frameworks.

Quantra and Phoenix Finance Partner to Advance RWA-Centered DeFi Infrastructure

In collaboration with Phoenix Finance, Quantra attempts to strengthen RWA infrastructure with on-chain yield opportunities. In this respect, Phoenix Finance provides a robust platform that addresses underutilized on-chain capital and fragmented liquidity. Thus, both entities attempt to enhance capital efficiency while also unlocking value from unused on-chain assets. Along with that, the product suite of Phoenix Finance includes $PUSD for expenditure, $PYN to drive growth, and $yPUSD for wider savings.

Each of the respective tokens caters to diverse financial utilities across the DeFi world. By using the AI technology, Phoenix Finance redefines real-world cash streams into composable and standardized yields for deployment across dApps. The respective approach improves predictability and usability for participants looking for exposure to exclusive RWA-backed returns.

Apart from that, Quantra is establishing a resilient infrastructure for validation, lifecycle RWA lifecycle management on-chain, and execution. The partnership permits Quantra to merge the technical framework thereof with Phoenix Finance’s cutting-edge yield-generation mechanisms. With this move, both initiatives attempt to undergo comprehensive synergies around RWA-focused yield structures as well as effective capital deployment. Keeping this in view, the duo seeks to decrease the barriers that the retail and institutional consumers face while entering tokenized RWA markets.

Boosting Trust and Compliance in DeFi via Verifiable RWA Infrastructure

Moreover, Quantra considers this partnership to be the reflection of a shared commitment to enhancing trust and transparency in RWA networks. Amid the improving regulatory clarity around the world, demand for execution-ready and verifiable RWA solutions keeps rising. Hence, Phoenix Finance and Quantra are advancing the RWA infrastructure with the convergence of yield-centered DeFi innovation and compliance-aware framework. Overall, this joint effort is poised to play an important role in shaping the next wave of DeFi at the intersection of on-chain efficiency and real-world value.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…
