BTCC, the world’s longest-operating cryptocurrency exchange, has announced a strong close to 2025, reporting a total trading volume of $3.7 trillion and growing its global user base to 11 million.

This represented a 60 percent year-on-year increase, underscoring BTCC’s continued relevance and growth in a rapidly evolving digital asset market. As the exchange prepares to mark its 15th anniversary in 2026, it is sharpening its focus on artificial intelligence-driven trading tools and the expansion of tokenized real-world assets.

Record 2025 Performance and Global Growth

Over the course of 2025, BTCC recorded $3.27 trillion in futures trading volume and $431 billion in spot trading volume. Tokenized real-world assets emerged as a key growth driver, with quarterly volumes rising significantly from $1.2 billion in the first quarter to $22.7 billion in the fourth quarter. By year-end, total tokenized futures trading volume had reached $53.1 billion, reflecting a growing demand for diversified and asset-backed crypto products.

BTCC maintained its emphasis on transparency and security by publishing monthly Proof of Reserves reports, with reserves consistently exceeding 100 percent. The exchange also delivered a series of platform upgrades during the year, including a redesigned user interface, enhancements to its VIP program, and full integration with TradingView for futures trading, all aimed at improving usability and performance for traders worldwide.

Strategic Vision and Innovation Roadmap for 2026

Beyond product development, BTCC expanded its global presence through participation in major industry and community events. The exchange attended TOKEN2049 conferences in Dubai and Singapore, hosted a summer festival in Tokyo, and organized an MVP Night during Taipei Blockchain Week. It also supported charitable causes by sponsoring the Red Eagle Foundation’s golf events, which collectively raised over $100,000 in 2025.

BTCC’s brand visibility was further strengthened through strategic partnerships, including the appointment of NBA All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. as its first global brand ambassador. The partnership reflects BTCC’s effort to connect digital asset innovation with mainstream culture, highlighting the convergence of sports, entertainment, and cryptocurrency. These initiatives contributed to industry recognition, including the Best Centralized Exchange (Community Choice) award from BeInCrypto.

Looking ahead to 2026, BTCC plans to introduce AI-powered trading features designed to improve risk management and trade execution for both professional and retail users. The exchange will also expand its real-world asset offerings following the strong growth recorded in 2025. In parallel, BTCC is preparing to launch a next-generation trading platform that integrates derivatives, spot markets, and multi-asset matching engines, alongside a new wealth management feature tailored to different risk profiles.

Commenting on the success, Marcus Chen, Product Manager at BTCC, stated;

“15 years in this industry has taught us that the real risk isn’t change but standing still. Our focus for 2026 is translating operational experience into speed: building what traders need for where markets are heading, not where they’ve been.”

Founded in 2011, BTCC serves more than 11 million users across over 100 countries, delivering secure, transparent, and accessible cryptocurrency trading services to a global community.
