The post Best Crypto to Buy With $400? Investors Rotate From Dogecoin and XRP Into This New Crypto appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News

When established tokens show slowing momentum, traders often look for assets with clearer product paths and usage signals. Two of the most familiar names in crypto markets have seen limited upside lately, even after earlier surges.

At the same time, a new crypto under $0.10 is gaining attention as participants watch it approach key development milestones. For investors considering where to deploy a modest allocation like $400, the comparison between older giants and emerging protocols is becoming more relevant.

Ripple (XRP)

Ripple’s native token, XRP, has been a mainstay in the broader cryptocurrency market for years. At the time of writing, XRP trades near $2 with a market capitalization in the tens of billions. It benefits from deep liquidity and wide exchange support, which makes it a core holding for many long-term crypto investors.

Despite this strong position, XRP has encountered resistance near the $2.50 level. Price charts show multiple tests of this zone, each followed by pullbacks. Resistance zones form where selling pressure increases, often slowing or reversing upward moves. For XRP, this means that a break above $2.75 could be a key technical indicator. Until then, momentum may remain range-bound.

Dogecoin (DOGE)

Dogecoin remains one of the most recognizable cryptocurrency names in the world. It trades near $0.14 with a market cap also in the multi-billion range. Its early rallies were driven by community zeal, broad social media visibility, and mainstream mentions that carried price higher during earlier cycles.

However, more recently, DOGE has faced resistance near $0.15. Price action shows that upside beyond this zone has been limited, with sellers stepping in and buyers losing steam at key levels. When a token repeatedly stalls near a known resistance zone, it signals that significant new capital may be needed to push price materially higher.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM)

One such project attracting attention from parts of the market is Mutuum Finance (MUTM). Mutuum Finance is a decentralized lending and borrowing protocol being built on Ethereum. The design supports crypto markets where users can deposit assets to earn yield and borrowers can access capital using collateral in structured markets.

Instead of relying on narrative alone, Mutuum Finance is focused on real usage mechanics. Its token distribution began in early 2025 at a low price point and has moved through staged pricing phases. MUTM now sells at $0.04 in its current presale phase 7.

The distribution has raised over $19.7 million, and more than 18,800 holders have taken positions in the token. Out of the total 4 billion supply, 45.5% is allocated for early distribution, and more than 825 million tokens have already been sold..

Security has been a part of the protocol’s preparation. Mutuum Finance completed a smart contract audit with Halborn Security, and achieved a strong score from CertiK’s Token Scan. For a lending protocol, having these reviews completed before mainnet launch matters because collateral and liquidation logic are core to how credit markets stay balanced.

Why Analysts See MUTM Positioned to Outperform

1. Market Cap and Growth Window

Both XRP and DOGE have large market caps. These higher valuations mean it takes more capital to push prices up by large percentages. Their past rises have already priced in much of the early growth potential. In contrast, MUTM is still at an early adoption stage. With a low price and a growing user base, there is more room for early valuation expansion if the protocol’s usage grows.

2. Real Usage vs Narrative

Dogecoin’s strength came from community attention and broad retail support. XRP’s strength comes from liquidity and settlement positioning. Neither has a clear revenue mechanism tied to usage.

Mutuum Finance’s structure ties token performance to protocol activity. As users deposit assets and borrowers engage, yield accrues, and revenue flows. Moreover, the protocol’s buy-and-distribute system directs revenue into market purchases that benefit stakers. This introduces demand tied to real activity rather than sentiment alone.

3. Timing and Adoption Signals

Analysts note that timing matters for growth potential. XRP and DOGE are both mature tokens, which makes large percentage moves less likely without new fundamental adoption drivers. Mutuum Finance is entering the phase where product readiness aligns with market visibility. Its V1 protocol launch is on the horizon, which could serve as a key adoption signal.

To illustrate this contrast with a simple example: suppose an investor allocates $800 across these assets. A $400 position in ADA or DOGE might deliver modest returns if those tokens clear resistance levels. By contrast, a $400 position in MUTM could benefit from earlier stage expansion if usage begins after the protocol goes live. This highlights how structural differences can influence risk-reward profiles.

V1 Launch and Security Layers Matter

A major catalyst for Mutuum Finance is its V1 launch. According to the official project account, V1 will debut on Ethereum’s Sepolia testnet before moving to mainnet. Once live, borrowing and lending markets, interest logic, and automated liquidation controls will start generating on-chain activity. This is often when tokens tied to utility begin drawing broader attention.

Halborn’s security audit and strong Token Scan score add another layer of confidence. In lending protocols, where collateral and liquidation logic must work reliably, these checks help attract participants who care about protocol robustness rather than narrative alone.

A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release

The post A Netflix ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Short Film Has Been Rated For Release appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. KPop Demon Hunters Netflix Everyone has wondered what may be the next step for KPop Demon Hunters as an IP, given its record-breaking success on Netflix. Now, the answer may be something exactly no one predicted. According to a new filing with the MPA, something called Debut: A KPop Demon Hunters Story has been rated PG by the ratings body. It’s listed alongside some other films, and this is obviously something that has not been publicly announced. A short film could be well, very short, a few minutes, and likely no more than ten. Even that might be pushing it. Using say, Pixar shorts as a reference, most are between 4 and 8 minutes. The original movie is an hour and 36 minutes. The “Debut” in the title indicates some sort of flashback, perhaps to when HUNTR/X first arrived on the scene before they blew up. Previously, director Maggie Kang has commented about how there were more backstory components that were supposed to be in the film that were cut, but hinted those could be explored in a sequel. But perhaps some may be put into a short here. I very much doubt those scenes were fully produced and simply cut, but perhaps they were finished up for this short film here. When would Debut: KPop Demon Hunters theoretically arrive? I’m not sure the other films on the list are much help. Dead of Winter is out in less than two weeks. Mother Mary does not have a release date. Ne Zha 2 came out earlier this year. I’ve only seen news stories saying The Perfect Gamble was supposed to come out in Q1 2025, but I’ve seen no evidence that it actually has.
