S&P 500 and Nasdaq ran into and after CPI, but that three times the buyers ran out of steam – the 6,850s area proved a tough nut to crack. It‘s opex, data light day, and last full week of the year – time to square books and not make any rash institutional buying, which was what we saw before the closing bell too, lately so often (with the exception of the day before Wednesday‘s slamming).
