The final month of the college football season will be filled with meaningful games, whether programs are fighting for a CFP spot or bowl eligibility with plenty of spots available. With three more weeks of the regular season remaining, 59 programs have already punched their ticket to bowl eligibility. This is your guide to tracking which teams will reach the postseason through the end of the regular season.

College Football Bowl Eligibility Criteria:

The future of the College Football Playoff is in question but when it comes to this year’s postseason, here’s a quick overview.

The final day of the 2025 regular season is on Nov. 29 with bowl games expected to be announced on Dec. 7. Bowl season begins Dec. 13 and ends Jan. 19. The postseason consists of 35 traditional bowl games, four CFP first round games, four quarterfinal games, two semifinal games and one national championship game. That adds to up to 46 matchups with 82 FBS programs set to play beyond conference championship weekend.

To qualify for bowl eligibility, teams must win at least six games, and they can only count one win against FCS opponents. If there are too many bowl-eligible teams, some will be left out of postseason play.

If there are not enough bowl-eligible teams, the first two spots would go to Delaware and Missouri State, which are transitioning from the FCS, assuming they satisfy the bowl-eligibility criteria. After that, it will come down to Academic Progress Rate scores for teams one win away from bowl eligibility, which is why in some years you see teams with a 5-7 record competing in bowl games.

Before the countdown to bowl season even began, one program was already eliminated. Akron was ruled ineligible for postseason play in May due to a failing Academic Progress Rate score during the 2023-24 season.

College Football Bowl Eligible Teams (59)

Eight teams became bowl eligible during Week 11 of the college football season including Arizona, Cal, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Iowa State, Jacksonville State, Ohio and Wake Forest. **Missouri State reached six wins but will only get a bowl bid if there are not enough bowl-eligible teams.

Thirteen teams have an opportunity to pick up their sixth victory during the Week 12 slate. Here’s the full list of programs that are one victory away from six wins:

⚡️ Litecoin has decoupled above the already roaring altcoin pack to end the week, jumping +16.2% Friday and returning above $102. The strongest arguments the rally can continue are: +6% More 100K+ $LTC wallets (whales) in 3 months ATH of $15.1B in daily on-chain volume pic.twitter.com/wO59tc16cR — Santiment (@santimentfeed) November 8, 2025 Ook binnen de DeFi-sector noteerde Litecoin een opvallende groei. Arthur Hayes forecasts bold $3.4 million Bitcoin bet for 2028

Arthur Hayes forecasts bold $3.4 million Bitcoin bet for 2028

The post Arthur Hayes forecasts bold $3.4 million Bitcoin bet for 2028 appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Maelstrom Chief Investment Officer Arthur Hayes made one of his boldest forecasts for Bitcoin, projecting that the asset could reach $3.4 million within three years. In a Sept. 23 note, he stressed that his prediction rests on the possibility of Donald Trump’s administration embracing aggressive monetary expansion through yield curve control. According to him: “Between now and 2028, the Treasury must issue new debt to pay back old debt and to fund the government deficit.” Hayes explained that US fiscal pressures are set to intensify, with annual deficits of roughly $2 trillion expected through 2028. That shortfall, combined with the need to refinance maturing debt, could drive new Treasury issuance above $15 trillion during the period. Meanwhile, Hayes expects the Fed to step in as the primary buyer of these debts. Hayes pointed out that the US authorities had absorbed about 40% of government borrowing to stabilize markets during the COVID-19 crisis. He expects the same scenario to occur now as overseas investors become less willing to finance US obligations. According to him: “I believe the Fed will purchase 50% or more of debt issued, because today even fewer foreign central banks will buy treasury debt because they know Trump will issue a fuck ton of it.” He estimated that combined credit creation by the Fed and the banking sector could swell significantly if that occurs. Considering this, Hayes linked this liquidity flow directly to Bitcoin’s valuation, estimating a slope of 0.19 for BTC’s price appreciation per dollar of credit growth. The implication, he said, is that every trillion printed brings the top crypto meaningfully closer to the multi-million dollar range and his prediction of $3.4 million. Despite the bold projection, Hayes tempered expectations by admitting that Bitcoin price may not reach the $3.4 million mark. Instead, he emphasized that…

Italy’s Banks Rally Behind ECB’s Digital Euro Initiative Amid Cost Concerns

Italy’s Banks Rally Behind ECB’s Digital Euro Initiative Amid Cost Concerns

Italian banks back ECB’s digital euro but seek gradual cost rollout. EU compromise aims to balance innovation with financial stability concerns. Germany and lawmakers push for a limited, retail-focused digital euro. Italy’s leading banks have voiced their support for the European Central Bank’s plan to introduce a digital euro, a central bank digital currency designed to modernize Europe’s financial system. According to a Reuters report, the Italian Banking Association’s General Manager, Marco Elio Rottigni, emphasized that while the sector backs the initiative, banks want to distribute the heavy initial costs over time. Rottigni explained during a press seminar that the association views the digital euro as a key step toward achieving digital sovereignty within Europe. He added that the banks’ endorsement stems from the project’s potential to enhance the region’s financial independence while maintaining strong regulatory oversight. Also Read: XRPL Labs Unveils Native Smart Contracts on XRP Ledger’s AlphaNet Calls for Balanced Implementation and Dual Approach Rottigni highlighted that Italian banks prefer a dual approach that promotes both the digital euro and commercial bank-issued digital currencies. This, he noted, would help Europe keep pace with other global economies like the United States, which recently advanced its regulatory framework for digital assets through the GENIUS Act. Meanwhile, the European Union has reached a compromise agreement involving finance ministers, ECB President Christine Lagarde, and European Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis. The deal ensures that finance ministers will play a role in determining the digital euro’s issuance and set limits on how much citizens can hold, addressing fears of potential bank runs. The project is expected to enter a pilot phase in 2027, with a potential full launch in 2029, pending legislative approval. Despite progress, debates persist among European financial institutions about the digital euro’s scope and implementation strategy. Pushback and Diverging Views Across Europe However, not all banking groups share Italy’s enthusiasm. The German Banking Industry Committee and conservative Member of the European Parliament Fernando Navarrete have expressed reservations. Navarrete has called for a scaled-down version of the digital euro that would enable offline payments but exclude real-time transactions between financial intermediaries. He argued in a recent report that existing settlement systems already serve wholesale transactions effectively, and the digital euro should focus solely on retail payments. His position reflects broader caution across Europe regarding how the new currency might reshape the region’s financial ecosystem. Europe’s Race to Stay Competitive in the Digital Era Italy’s banking sector, nonetheless, remains confident that a coordinated rollout could reinforce Europe’s digital competitiveness and ensure the continent does not lag behind global peers. The push for a balanced transition highlights the growing urgency for Europe to secure its place in the rapidly evolving global financial landscape.
