The NFIB Business Optimism Index and the ADP Employment Change Weekly are due. EUR/USD halted its recent recovery, coming under fresh downside pressure and retesting the area below 1.1550. The ZEW Economic Sentiment in Germany and the euro area is due alongside the speech by the ECB’s Lagarde. GBP/USD added to its ongoing rebound, coming closer to the 1.3200 mark despite the Greenback’s humble advance. The BRC Retail Sales Monitor will precede the release of the UK labour market report. USD/JPY climbed to three-day peaks past the 154.00 hurdle following further depreciation of the Japanese Yen, adding to Friday’s positive performance.
