Texas bakery rakes in the dough after viral brawl with MAGA

A Texas bakery ripped into MAGA in a now-viral post that caught the country's attention, according to reports Thursday.

Hive Bakery in Flower Mound wrote in a Facebook post that it was "not wanting to celebrate the 4th this year," USA Today reported. The award-winning bakery — and two-time Food Network Champion — said: "We’re embarrassed, afraid, and disappointed in what this country has become."

"MAGA is adversarial," the bakery wrote. "Those conservatives who still have rational thought have left the MAGA movement. Those who remain and continue to support the most corrupt administration in our nation's history are here, wishing for our bakery to burn to the ground."

The bakery created "Distress Sugar Cookies" featuring the upside-down American flag and the words "Under Distress." The sweets, along with other confections and merchandise, sold out online.

"We’ve been SLAMMED today and baking all afternoon to accommodate the demand. Thanks so much, guys!!!" the bakery posted on July 8.

In a new Instagram video posted July 8 titled 'Rage Baiting the Rage Baiters,' owner Hailey Popp revealed some of the reactions and phone calls she has received from MAGA critics since taking her firm stance.

"Oh, we're going to go down hard," Popp told one person complaining. "No, we're not, we have a line out the door."

"No, we love America, that's why we fight for it," Popp said on one call. "We hate Donald Trump and the entire administration; it's a fascist regime, and they're holding us all back."

"You know that you voted for a Republican, you know that he's a convicted felon?" Popp asked, teasing another caller.
