PETALING JAYA: A 24-year-old man was found dead in a water tower at Bandar Saujana Perdana in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, yesterday morning.
The Selangor fire and rescue department, which was alerted to the incident at about 11.50am, said the man had been conducting maintenance work at the tower.
“We were informed the victim fell into the tower’s water tank and drowned,” it said in a statement.
Medical officers confirmed the victim’s death at the scene. His body was handed over to the police for further investigation.
