1. What is MEXC Futures Earn

Futures Earn is a financial product provided by MEXC for futures users. Once enabled, eligible funds in your futures account will automatically participate in exclusive futures financial products. These funds can generate daily returns for you without affecting your normal futures trading, helping you achieve efficient growth of your futures account assets.

2. Futures Earn Rules

2.1 Introduction to Basic Futures Earn Rules

  • Futures Earn assets are calculated based on the "principal" in the user's futures account, i.e., the wallet balance in the user's futures account.
  • Users only need to manually enable Futures Earn. Subsequently, the "principal" will automatically calculate and distribute yields. The "principal" is used for yield calculation while still serving as margin for futures trading.
  • Principal = Available + Frozen + Margin - Trial Funds
  • Please refer to the event page for the specific cryptocurrencies supported by Futures Earn.
  • Trial funds do not participate in Futures Earn interest calculations.
  • Futures Earn yields are completely free of charge.

2.2 Futures Earn Yield Calculation and Distribution Rules

Futures Earn yields are influenced by Futures Position Value and Futures Account Principal Amount. The futures position value affects the overall APR for interest calculation, while the futures account principal amount directly affects the interest base. Specific rules are as follows:

1) USDT, USDC, USDE Margin:
Currency
Futures Position Value
Interest-Bearing Principal

USDT
< $50,000
50,000 USDT
*The portion exceeding 50,000 USDT (up to 100,000 USDT) enjoys a 7% APR

≥ $50,000
10%
≥ $100,000
15%
≥ $500,000

Note:
  • APR values and principal limit rules are dynamically adjusted based on market conditions and platform rules. Please refer to the Futures Earn page for actual rules. Follow MEXC platform announcements to stay updated.
  • Only the position value of USDT/USDC-margined contracts is calculated (position values are aggregated). Coin-margined contracts are not included in the calculation.
  • Futures position value is calculated based on net positions: For pairs with the same base currency, the net position quantity is used. The specific algorithm is:
  • abs(USDT Long Position Quantity x Cost Price - USDT Short Position Quantity x Cost Price + USDC Long Position Quantity x Cost Price - USDC Short Position Quantity x Cost Price)
  • Position value snapshots are taken 3 times daily, and the average of the 3 snapshots is used.
  • Futures account wallet balance snapshots are taken 3 times daily, and the minimum value is used as the interest-bearing principal.

2) Example of Futures Earn Yield Calculation:

Scenario A: The user currently has an 80,000 USDT futures position and a principal of 25,000 USDT. The user's daily yield is calculated as follows:
Daily Yield = 25,000 * 10% / 365 = 6.85 USDT

Scenario B: The user currently has a 100,000 USDT futures position and a principal of 85,000 USDT. The user's daily yield is calculated as follows:
Daily Yield = 50,000 * 15% / 365 + 35,000 * 7% / 365 = 27.26 USDT

3) Futures Earn Yield Distribution Rules

Earn yields are distributed to the user's futures account once daily. The distributed amount is the earn yield from the previous day. You can view yield records in [Cumulative Yields] on the Futures Earn page.

2.3 Rules for Enabling and Disabling Futures Earn

Enable Earn: When there are cryptocurrencies supporting Futures Earn in your futures account, you can enable Futures Earn at any time.
Disable Earn: You can disable Futures Earn at any time while it is active. Please note that during the period when Futures Earn is active, funds used for earning cannot be transferred out or withdrawn; otherwise, these funds will no longer generate yields.
