Bittensor Price Prediction: Where Could TAO Price Go If It Becomes the “AWS of Decentralized AI”?

Key highlights:

  • The TAO price is cooling after a strong rally, with signs of short-term consolidation below key resistance.
  • Bittensor’s subnet economy is driving real value, with capital flowing toward top-performing AI networks.
  • Long-term upside remains strong, but near-term price action indicates a possible pullback before continuation.

Bittensor has been getting a lot of attention lately, and it’s not hard to see why. After a massive run, things have started to slow down a bit, but under the surface, the bigger story is still unfolding.

What’s happening with Bittensor right now goes far beyond a typical AI token narrative. The way capital flows through the network is starting to change how people think about value in this space. That’s where things get interesting.

This isn’t just another AI token

At first glance, it’s easy to group Bittensor in with the rest of the AI-related tokens. But once you dig deeper, the structure looks very different.

The TAO price is tied to a system where intelligence itself is being priced in real time. Instead of pure speculation, capital is actively flowing into subnets that are producing useful outputs.

Right now, around 73% of the total supply is staked. That’s a large portion of the network being allocated, not left idle. At the same time, there are more than 128 subnets live, each one operating like its own mini-market for AI.

What stands out is how capital is already concentrating. A small group of top-performing subnets is absorbing a significant share of emissions, which shows that the market is already identifying where value exists.

Why people are comparing it to AWS

The comparison to AWS starts to make sense when you look at how the system works.

With the introduction of dTAO, users can direct capital into specific subnets. When that happens, those subnets receive more emissions, which strengthens their ability to improve and scale.

That creates a feedback loop that’s hard to ignore. Attention brings capital, capital increases emissions, and stronger subnets attract more attention.

When you zoom out, it looks like a decentralized marketplace for compute and intelligence. Instead of one centralized provider, you have multiple subnets competing to deliver better performance at lower cost.

Some are already processing massive amounts of data at a fraction of traditional cloud costs. Others are proving that large-scale AI training can work in a decentralized environment. And a few are focused on connecting all of that to real users and revenue.

What the TAO price could look like next

If Bittensor continues growing and starts to solidify its position as a core infrastructure for decentralized AI, the upside scenarios become easier to map out.

In a steady growth case, where adoption keeps increasing but doesn’t explode overnight, the TAO price could revisit the $400 to $500 range. That would reflect continued progress without fully pricing in the bigger vision.

If subnet activity keeps expanding, revenue keeps increasing, and more capital flows into the network, a move toward $700 to $900 becomes more realistic. That’s where the market starts treating Bittensor as a major player in the AI space.

In a more aggressive scenario, where Bittensor truly becomes the go-to layer for decentralized AI, the TAO price could push beyond $1,200. That would mean the market is fully valuing it as infrastructure, not just a token.

Of course, there’s still downside risk. If momentum fades and the market pulls back, the TAO price could revisit the $250 to $280 range before finding stronger support.

CoinCodex’s 1-month TAO price prediction places the asset at $232.45, indicating a potential move down from current levels near $300 if momentum cools and resistance continues to hold.

The post Wormhole Jumps 11% on Revised Tokenomics and Reserve Initiative appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Cross-chain bridge Wormhole plans to launch a reserve funded by both on-chain and off-chain revenues. Wormhole, a cross-chain bridge connecting over 40 blockchain networks, unveiled a tokenomics overhaul on Wednesday, hinting at updated staking incentives, a strategic reserve for the W token, and a smoother unlock schedule. The price of W jumped 11% on the news to $0.096, though the token is still down 92% since its debut in April 2024. W Chart In a blog post, Wormhole said it’s planning to set up a “Wormhole Reserve” that will accumulate on-chain and off-chain revenues “to support the growth of the Wormhole ecosystem.” The protocol also said it plans to target a 4% base yield for governance stakers, replacing the current variable APY system, noting that “yield will come from a combination of the existing token supply and protocol revenues.” It’s unclear whether Wormhole will draw from the reserve to fund this target. Wormhole did not immediately respond to The Defiant’s request for comment. Wormhole emphasized that the maximum supply of 10 billion W tokens will remain the same, while large annual token unlocks will be replaced by a bi-weekly distribution beginning Oct. 3 to eliminate “moments of concentrated market pressure.” Data from CoinGecko shows there are over 4.7 billion W tokens in circulation, meaning that more than half the supply is yet to be unlocked, with portions of that supply to be released over the next 4.5 years.
