LinkedIn Suspends Ivana Flynn's Account After Sharing Press Gazette Report on AI Reporters and Parasite SEO as Silence Attempt Alleged

Ivana Flynn, an SEO professional and well-known figure in the affiliate marketing industry, had her LinkedIn profile suspended on June 24 after sharing a Press Gazette investigation into AI-generated sports journalism and parasite SEO practices, according to a LinkedIn post published by SEO professional Timothy Malmros Genach.

Flynn is an SEO consultant in the iGaming sector and the founder of iGaming SEO Boardroom. Through her YouTube channel, she regularly hosts interviews and discussions with leading SEO professionals, affiliate executives, and digital marketing leaders from across the online gambling industry. Her content frequently covers parasite SEO, negative SEO, black-hat tactics, AI-generated content, and other controversial topics shaping modern search marketing.

In his post, Malmros Genach said that Flynn became the target of a coordinated attempt to silence her after she shared the article. He claimed Flynn received threats and suggested those responsible were motivated by the subject matter of the Press Gazette investigation.

Malmros Genach has previously published investigations and commentary on Clickout Media and its business practices. While stopping short of directly naming those responsible for Flynn's account suspension, he wrote that “we already know who is behind it.”

Given the focus of the Press Gazette article and his earlier criticism of Clickout Media, the post implied that he believes Clickout Media was behind Flynn's account suspension.

Malmros Genach shared that he had himself been subjected to similar tactics and that such actions are intended to intimidate critics and suppress discussion. Malmros Genach called on supporters to help restore Flynn's account and share the Press Gazette article, adding that attempts to suppress a story only make it more important to discuss.

Mass reporting of social media accounts and content has long been used as a black-hat tactic to disrupt critics, competitors, journalists, and whistleblowers across major online platforms.
