Market Sentiment Supporting Aster’s Growth

Market sentiment plays a crucial role in the performance of many cryptocurrencies, and Aster is no exception. Despite some recent instability in decentralized finance (DeFi) markets, Aster has held steady at its current price level.

Analyst Cotton shared his view on Aster, expressed confidence in the coin’s potential. He said, “I expect even a clean 2x from here, going to $1.50.” His prediction aligns with positive market sentiment and growing interest in Aster. Despite the recent decline in DeFi markets, there is still a belief that Aster’s price will continue to rise in the near future.

Aster’s Performance Amid DeFi Market Volatility

The DeFi market has experienced sharp fluctuations, particularly in late 2025 and early 2026. In late 2025, Total Value Locked (TVL) in the DeFi space surged to $1.242 billion before seeing a steep drop in early 2026. Open Interest, which peaked at over $2.5 billion in October 2025, has similarly decreased, reflecting the market’s instability.

Despite these fluctuations, analysts remain optimistic, viewing it as a solid asset within the DeFi ecosystem. The ongoing volatility in the DeFi market has not deterred investors from showing strong interest in $ASTER. While the overall market remains unstable, $ASTER’s price remains resilient, indicating strong investor confidence.

Aster’s Future Outlook and Key Price Levels

Looking ahead, the outlook for Aster appears promising based on the analyst’s projections. The coin’s consistent performance, along with a positive market atmosphere, suggests further growth. If the price reaches $1.50, it will represent a substantial gain from its current value.

With the decentralized finance market remaining a key area of interest, Aster could benefit from further market confidence. As market participants continue to monitor trends, Aster’s price movements will likely continue to attract attention in the coming weeks.

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
