US Stocks AI Daily on Oct 21, 2026: Duos Signs a 20MW Ten-Year Contract Worth More Than $400M

The AI supply chain filled all six layers on October 20 for the first time. The largest number of the day came from a Reuters exclusive: ByteDance, Alibaba (Ticker: BABA) and Tencent together ordered more than $35B of Nvidia (Ticker: NVDA) chips, yet none of the three nor Nvidia commented. Only two deals had a value the companies themselves disclosed, the $325M Series C at ASI and the 20MW ten-year contract worth more than $400M at Duos Technologies (Ticker: DUOT).

Today's Takeaway

The 20MW ten-year contract Duos Technologies (Ticker: DUOT) signed is worth more than $400M and is the only deal of the day whose value the company itself disclosed, yet it exceeds the company's current market value by more than two times, the tenant is not even named, and the roughly 75MW of remaining site agreements are only promised by year end. Counted deal value this issue is $725M, with $38.0B excluded, of which the $35B of Nvidia (Ticker: NVDA) orders comes from a press report that no party has confirmed and carries no signing date, while $3B is the US supply chain plan Micron (Ticker: MU) disclosed in July. Terafab puts volume production in the third quarter of 2028, a schedule Musk himself described as carrying big error bars.

How to use this next time: when a very large number shows up, ask first who said it. The $35B this issue has only a press source, no comment from any party and no signing date, while the $725M came from company releases. Size and certainty often run in opposite directions, so keeping them apart stops someone else's guess about an order book from reading like a deal that already exists.
